Getting Started

How do I create an account?

Click the "Register" button on the login page. You can create an account with a username and password, or sign in with Google or Apple.

What are API keys and why do I need them?

API keys are credentials that allow Aditis to execute trades on your behalf on Polymarket and Kalshi. You need to:

  1. Create accounts on Polymarket and/or Kalshi
  2. Generate API keys from their platforms
  3. Add your API keys in your Aditis profile

Your API keys are encrypted and stored securely. We never display them in plaintext.

How do I add API keys?

Go to your Profile page after logging in. You'll see sections for Polymarket and Kalshi API keys. Enter your keys and click "Save". Make sure to keep your keys secure and never share them.

Baskets

What is a basket?

A basket is a collection of prediction market positions that you can trade as a single unit. Baskets allow you to:

  • Diversify across multiple markets
  • Trade correlated positions together
  • Track portfolio performance
How do I create a custom basket?

Only administrators can create baskets. If you're an admin:

  1. Go to the Market Builder page
  2. Search for markets you want to include
  3. Add markets to your basket with weights
  4. Name your basket and save it
How is basket price calculated?

Basket price is calculated as a weighted average of the individual market prices in the basket. Each market has a weight (percentage), and the basket price reflects the combined value of all positions.

Trading

How do I trade a basket?

Click on a basket from the dashboard to view its details. Then click "Trade This Basket" to open the trading modal. Select your direction (YES or NO), enter the quantity, and confirm the trade.

What happens if a trade partially executes?

If some markets in your basket execute successfully but others fail, you'll see a "partial" status. The successfully executed legs will be recorded, and you can try to complete the remaining positions manually if needed.

How is PnL calculated?

Profit and Loss (PnL) is calculated as: (Current Basket Price - Trade Price) × Quantity. Positive PnL means you're profitable, negative means you're at a loss.

Price Tracking

How often are prices updated?

Prices are updated every minute via automated price fetching. The dashboard shows a countdown timer indicating when the next update will occur.

What do 1D, 5D, 1M, YTD mean?

These represent price changes over different time periods:

  • 1D: Change in the last 24 hours
  • 5D: Change in the last 5 days
  • 1M: Change in the last month
  • YTD: Change since January 1st

Troubleshooting

My API keys aren't working

Check that:

  • Your API keys are correctly entered (no extra spaces)
  • Your keys have the necessary permissions
  • Your Polymarket/Kalshi accounts are active
  • The API keys haven't expired or been revoked
Trades are failing to execute

Common reasons for trade failures:

  • Insufficient balance in your Polymarket/Kalshi account
  • Market is closed or suspended
  • API rate limits exceeded
  • Invalid market ticker or token ID

Check the trade status message for specific error details.

Prices seem incorrect

If prices appear incorrect:

  • Wait for the next price update (check the countdown timer)
  • Refresh the page
  • Check if the underlying markets are still active
  • Verify your internet connection

Account & Security

How do I change my password?

Password changes are currently handled through your account provider. If you signed in with Google or Apple, manage your password through those services.

Is my data secure?

Yes. We use industry-standard encryption for sensitive data like API keys and passwords. However, you should also:

  • Never share your API keys
  • Use strong, unique passwords
  • Enable two-factor authentication on Polymarket/Kalshi if available
